Privacy Policy — Nomi
This Privacy Policy explains how Nomi (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use the Nomi mobile application.
Nomi provides curated affirmation / manifestation cards and optional AI-assisted card creation. Nomi is not a medical, clinical, or mental-health service and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or therapy.
1. Information we process
1.1 Information stored on your device
Depending on how you use the app, Nomi may store locally on your device:
- Display name / nickname you enter
- Favorites and home-feed preferences
- Metadata and images for cards you create or save
- Free-create quota / entitlement flags needed for limited free use
- Draft text you type before generating a card
- Optional durable quota markers used to limit free Create misuse after reinstall
This on-device data is used to run the app for you and is not uploaded to our servers unless a feature below requires it.
1.2 Information sent when you use Create (AI generation)
If you use Create, the wish or scene text you submit (and related generation parameters), plus a device identifier used for free-quota enforcement, may be sent to our generation API and to third-party AI providers solely to produce your affirmation card.
We do not sell this content. Retention by providers is governed by their own terms and policies.
1.3 Analytics and device identifiers
To operate and improve Nomi, we may send pseudonymous product events (for example app open, card swipe, create success, share) together with a device identifier, session id, and app version to our servers over HTTPS. These events are used for App functionality and Analytics. We do not use them for advertising.
1.4 Reports and safety
If you submit an in-app Report on a card, we receive the report reason, optional notes, and card identifiers so we can review unsafe or policy-violating content.
1.5 Subscription and purchases
If you subscribe, Google Play / Google processes purchase and subscription data under Google’s policies. We receive entitlement signals needed to unlock features. We do not receive your full payment card number.
1.6 Diagnostics (optional / future)
If we enable additional crash or diagnostics tooling in a future version, we will update this Policy and the Play Data safety form before collecting that data.
2. How we use information
- Provide Cards, Create, Favorites, download, share, and widget features
- Enforce limited free usage and subscription benefits
- Improve safety (including filtering, refusing unsafe prompts, and handling reports)
- Understand product usage at an operational level
- Respond to privacy requests, abuse reports, and support emails
- Comply with law and Google Play requirements
3. Sharing
We share information only as needed with our API / hosting providers, AI / generation providers (when you use Create), and Google Play (billing). We do not sell personal information and we do not use the data for third-party advertising.
4. Children
Nomi is not directed to children and is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
5. Data retention
On-device data remains until you clear app data, uninstall, or delete items in-app. Operational analytics and report records may be kept as needed to run safety and product operations. Emails you send for support or reports may be kept as needed to handle the request. Third-party AI providers may retain prompts per their policies.
6. Your choices
- You can avoid Create and only browse curated cards
- You can clear app storage or uninstall to remove local data
- You can manage or cancel Play subscriptions in Google Play’s subscription center
- To request deletion of server-side data associated with your device, follow Request Data Deletion

7. Security
We transmit supported network features over HTTPS. We use reasonable measures appropriate for a consumer app. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. International processing
If you use Create or our cloud APIs, your data may be processed on servers outside your country (including by hosting and AI providers).
9. Changes
We may update this Policy. The “Effective date” will change when we do.
